About Us
Fakhoury Academy of Taekwondo is owned and operated by Kevin and Alex Fakhoury, both 5th Degree Black Belts in Taekwondo. They have a combined martial arts experience of over 40 years. They founded their dojang in October 2015.
Kevin Fakhoury has bachelors degrees in biology and electronics engineering. He has been teaching Taekwondo classes for over 15 years.
Alex Fakhoury has a bachelors degree in English and is a North Carolina licensed elementary school teacher. She taught in the Henderson County Public Schools system for five years and has taught Taekwondo lessons for over 15 years. Alex has experience working with Exceptional Children and English as a Second Language students.
