Our son and daughter have attended Fakhoury Taekwondo since we moved to the area around 6 months ago. Our son is 11 and our daughter just turned 9. This was their first ever Martial Arts class & it has been amazing so far. My husband is a 4th degree Taekwondo Master. He held the National Champion title for 10 years in a row and was on the Olympic Team. He didn’t want to train our own kids because the relationship between a student/master is different than a parent/child relationship. In the previous years we had looked into many different Taekwondo studios, but none of them felt “right”, because while watching the Master teach and how the black belt students kicked, it wasn’t at a level my husband “approved” of. When moving to the area, we came to check out Fakhoury Taekwondo, along with the other schools in the area and Fakhoury was the best option out there. We love the relationship between both Masters and the students. Our kids love going to class and they practice every day on their own! We highly recommend Fakhoury Taekwondo. Your kids will love it!

We love Fakhoury Academy of Taekwondo. Watching the confidence bloom in my child who was previously very shy and anxious has been amazing. She had made numerous friends along her journey so far that she otherwise wouldn’t have met. The level of discipline and determination to succeed has been inspiring to witness. I love that she gets to participate in an activity that involves physical activity but also instills life long skills. I would definitely recommend this dojang and have recommended it to a few friends over the last few months. I can’t wait to see where this journey takes us as she continues to grow.

Our young lady has a moderate case of ADHD. We have struggled daily with normal activities. Learning the rules and how to respect the dojang, masters, and fellow students has been a great help with this. All aspects of Taekwondo are taught in a gentle and positive way and watching the masters teach has also helped me come up with better ideas to keep her a little more focused at home as well. She loves class! She loves to learn and the Masters provide a great environment for her to do this. The classes move at a great pace so she is able to learn yet not get bored. She is challenged in a fun way and that keeps her interested. My personal favorite would be the games that the Masters play with the children. While she is just having fun she has no idea that she is learning and getting a great workout! I would absolutely recommend the Masters Fakhoury to anyone looking for their child to have an impactful and fun experience!

Our son has been attending Fakhoury Academy of Taekwondo for a few months now and we have been extremely happy. Henry enjoys it more than I could have imagined. He passed on a beach trip with his grandparents over the summer because he didn’t want to miss a week of classes. Masters Fakhoury offer the perfect balance of fun and discipline while teaching the kids and getting them ready for their next belt testing. My son really likes Fakhoury Taekwondo. The instructors are knowledgeable and technically trained in there craft. I love how each class is full of physical activity’s that keep the kids moving and learning new techniques. Since attending my son has improved his confidence and has made new friends within the community. We can’t say enough about Fakhoury Taekwondo. We signed our 5 year old up for the free two week classes to see is this would be a good fit for him and his super high energy and we haven’t stopped since. Both instructors know how to get these kids to pay attention and it has really helped him focus on tasks and he has learned to channel his energy into class. It’s also helped him to be less hands on towards others. I would totally recommend Fakhoury taekwondo to anyone with kids. Great groups of kids that go here and the instructors are wonderful.

I have a 9 year old son who’s on the spectrum, who I have seen grow so much since March when he started. He is gaining so much focus and the confidence he is gaining from being here is beautiful to see. Both Master Fakhourys work with him and show him he is capable of anything. I am extremely pleased with how they handle him, and the other kids in class. My son really enjoys coming to class every week, I can never thank them enough!

My son was born premature and is still on the smaller side. I enrolled him in Taekwondo so that he can learn to defend himself in case he ever finds himself in a bully situation. Attending regular classes at Fakhoury Taekwondo has given him so much confidence! He sometimes acts like he’s 10 feet tall! I have seen the immense growth since he started 2 years ago. Masters Kevin and Alex Fakhoury are great teachers that work with the students one on one and see what each is capable and try to push them beyond each’s comfort level. I would recommend Fakhoury Taekwondo to anyone interested in joining the dojang!
